Sacchi lampoons Milan players: ‘No inspiration’

AC Milan drew 1-1 at home with Lazio on Sunday in the Italian Serie A as they look to break into Europe next season after an extended exile.
The result left Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side in 5th place, tied on 55 points with fourth-placed Fiorentina.
Sacchi was particularly not impressed by Milan players drab performance and has blasted them for lacking ‘motivation’ and the desire to motivate.
“Milan have always thought about the beautiful game, so the president is not happy, because the team, even under this reasoning, does not give the impression of being determined or to have a winning attitude,” Sacchi said.
“They’re missing inspiration.
“One must first choose the men, and here there are already problems, so they take players who are only functional.”
