Milan to meet with Fiorentina for Kalinić this week, reportedly ready to offer €25m for the Croatian striker

The Rossoneri announced the arrival of André Silva from Porto for €38 million + €2 million bonuses yesterday, and at the time of the signing, director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli said that the Milan mercato will slow down a bit now.

But according to Gianluca Di Marzio, it doesn’t really seem to be the case as by the end of the week a meeting is expected to take place between Mirabelli and Fiorentina’s Pantaleo Corvino, in which the Diavolo are ready to make a bid for Kalinić.
Kalinić has the esteem of Vincenzo Montella and Di Marzio claims the Rossoneri are willing to make an offer worth €25m for the 29-year-old. The Viola value the player, whose contract expires in June 2019, at €30m and it seems that there is optimism that a deal can be found between the parties.
Last night there were also reports coming from Spain suggesting Milan had found an agreement with Fiorentina for Borja Valero (€10 million), but Milannews.it and SportItalia claim that there has been no contact between the sides over the midfielder and there is absolutely no deal in place for Borja.
La Gazzetta adds that if Milan can’t land Kalinić then they will look for a different striker with a similar valuation. No Morata, Aubameyang or Belotti, Milan seem to have chosen André Silva-Kalinić.
