The AC Milan shot stopper has no plans to the leave the San Siro outfit despite reported interest from Manchester United.
The teenager has established himself as one of Europe’s most-exciting
talents over the past 24 months or so after breaking into the first
team at the San Siro.
Donnarumma’s eye-catching performances have prompted transfer
speculation linking the AC Milan goalkeeper with a move to a host of
Europe’s top clubs.
Manchester United were reported to be interested in the Italy international as Jose Mourinho prepares for David De Gea’s potential exit this summer.
However, Donnarumma has emphatically ruled out talk of a potential
move to Manchester United or another club after reaffirming his
commitment to AC Milan.
“Everyone knows that my wish is to stay at Milan,” Donnarumma told GQ, as quoted by Metro.
“I’m looking for a house in the city to live with my family.
“I’m calm, all the parties involved know the decision I’ve made. I’m
very much tied to these colours. Both Mino and Enzo Raiola and I are a
cohesive team.”
Donnarumma only has 12 months remaining on his current deal with AC Milan which has naturally alerted plenty of clubs in Europe.
The 19-year-old has been a regular fixture in the Rossoneri side since breaking into the Milan first-team three seasons ago.
