Football super agent Mino Raiola is set to meet AC Milan officials at some point on Thursday to finalise the future of his client Gianluigi Donnarumma, with an announcement hopefully to be made the same day.
As reported by Football Italia, an offer of €4m-per-season (rising to €5m) is on the table from the club to the youngster, who is out of contract at the San Siro in 2018 - and the agent wants to make sure a release clause is inserted.
Donnarumma
is one of world football's most exciting prospects, having emerged as
an unbelievably mature head for one so young over the past couple of
seasons in Milan's first team.
Should Raiola get his wish and negotiate a release clause that record of €51m would likely be shattered if ever triggered.
Raiola,
who also manages Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is understood by
Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia) to be unhappy at the amount
of pressure that has been put on his client to sign a new deal with the
Rossoneri.
