GALLIANI THANKS FANS FOR CESARE TRIBUTES

MILAN – Adriano Galliani has spoken about Cesare Maldini in today’s edition of Radio Anch'io Lo Sport. Here were his words on the Rossoneri great who sadly died at the age of 84 over the weekend: "He was the history of Milan for what he achieved and also for what his son achieved. An elegant man, who started as a wing-back and then became a libero. He was the first Italian to lift the European Cup. He was a fantastic person. He and Paolo are one of a kind, absolutely unique. I want to thank all the Italian fans that paid tribute to him yesterday and in particular those of Inter. The President and I have already started to talk about organising something special to remember him. The whole Milan squad will be at the funeral tomorrow."

During the show, the joint-CEO also commented on playing matters after Sunday’s defeat in Bergamo: "It’s a testing moment. We were in good form, but we have recently only collected 2 points in 4 games and we are asking ourselves the reasons why. The TIM Cup final could change opinions on our season."
