Chelsea may make a move for AC Milan stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer, amid rumours current number one Thibaut Courtois may be eyeing a way out of the club.
The Daily Star have reported that according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, talks between Chelsea and AC Milan have commenced surrounding a possible move for the 16-year-old.
Donnarumma is now the first-choice goalkeeper at Milan, and at the mere age of 16 looks like a promising talent for the future.
With Guus Hiddink’s Chelsea side showing interest in the teenager, the youngster’s agent has slapped a £131Million price tag on the stopper.
Chelsea look set to miss out on gaining qualification for next year's Champions League, and this could play a major factor in Courtois’ decision to exit Stamford Bridge.
Should the Belgian international decide to depart the club, the Blues are already seeking out possible replacements, and one of those comes in the shape of Donnarumma.
The Italy Under-17 international was initially selected by Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic to be the third choice keeper at the club, but his impressive form has seen him play 17 out of Milan’s 25 league games so far this season.
