Manchester United see Gianluigi Donnarumma as a long-term successor to David De Gea
AC Milan are ready to offer teen sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma a new contract in an attempt to ward off interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
The 17-year-old became the youngest ever goalkeeper to start a Serie A match this season and has caught the eye of several clubs.
United view the Italian as a possible successor to David de Gea, while Liverpool believe he could compete with Simon Mignolet for a starting spot.
However, according to Il Quotidiano Sportivo, Milan are ready to offer Donnarumma a new contract to keep him at the club.
The Serie A side are proposing a five-year deal for the youngster, which would be worth around £15,000-a-week.
Liverpool and United have not given up hope, though, as they can offer Donnarumma a significantly higher pay packet.
