The reliable Spanish publication claim Spurs
have set their sights on the former Liverpool player, who has
kickstarted his career with an impressive spell in Italy over the last
two years.
Marca report that Tottenham manager Mauricio
Pochettino is a big admirer of the 23-year-old and wants to sign him as
part of a revamp to enable the club to be more competitive in the
Champions League next season.
Spurs failed to make it out
of the group stage of Europe’s top competition last season and then
compounded their misery with elimination from the Europa League at the
first hurdle.
But the Londoners produced their best
campaign of the Premier League era to storm to a second place finish
that has prompted hopes of their first tile in over five decades.
Suso
is on their radar after a fine season for Milan in which he scored
seven goals and supplied 11 assists in 34 Serie A matches from his
right-flank role.
The former Spain Under-21 international
had spent the previous campaign on loan at Genoa following his arrival
from Liverpool in January 2015.
Suso made 21 appearances for the Merseyside giants before his exit
