Milan are opting for a more defensive approach with Alessio Romagnoli playing left back while Juventus are expected to use 4-3-1-2.
Milan play Juventus at the Juventus Stadium today at 20:45 CET and it will be the 28th matchday of the 2016/17 Serie A season. Milan and Juve coaches, Vincenzo Montella and Massimiliano Allegri, have almost decided on their starting XI’s.
Juventus have to do without the banned Juan Cuadrado as well as without Giorgio Chiellini, Paolo De Ceglie, Federico Mattiello, Rolando Mandragora and Stefano Sturaro. Due to the Colombian’s suspension, Allegri is going to switch back to 4-3-1-2 with Claudio Marchisio in midfield and Paulo Dybala behind Mario Mandžukić and Gonzalo Higuain. Mehdi Benatia and Leonardo Bonucci will start in defense.

Milan are without Ignazio Abate, Giacomo Bonaventura, Riccardo Montolivo, Keisuke Honda and Patrick Cutrone. After giving Leonel Vangioni a good run of games, it seems that Montella is preferring a more defensive option against Juve as Alessio Romagnoli is favourite to play on the left side alongside Cristian Zapata, Gabriel Paletta and Mattia De Sciglio in defense. Manuel Locatelli was in doubt for the match due to a fever but in any case, he’ll start on the bench with Mario Pasalic, Jose Sosa and Andrea Bertolacci in midfield. Suso is recovered and will play from the first minute.
Here are the probable formations for tonight according to this morning’s GdS:

Juventus F.C. (4-3-1-2) – Massimiliano Allegri
Gianluigi Buffon; Stephan Lichtsteiner, Leonardo Bonucci, Medhi Benatia, Alex Sandro; Sami Khedira, Claudio Marchisio, Miralem Pjanic; Paulo Dybala; Mario Mandžukić, Gonzalo Higuain.

AC Milan (4-3-3) – Vincenzo Montella
Gianluigi Donnarumma; Mattia De Sciglio, Cristian Zapata, Gabriel Paletta, Alessio Romagnoli; Mario Pasalic, Jose Sosa, Andrea Bertolacci; Suso, Carlos Bacca, Gerard Deulofeu.

Referee: Davide Massa.
