Donnarumma: It is still a dream to be playing for AC Milan

Having made his AC Milan debut at the tender age of 16, goalkeeping starlet, Gianluigi Donnarumma has admitted that it is still a dream to be playing for the Rossoneri.
The Italian youngster has received huge interest since becoming Milan’s first choice shot-stopper this season, and he has marvelled at some of the vast transfer fees he has been linked with.
“I cannot believe it when I see my name on various sites linking me with huge transfer sums,” said Donnarumma to Corriere dello Sport. “I have to ask myself whether it is really true.

The Neapolitan native has also admitted that he never thought he would start his professional career this early, insisting that it is still hard to believe whilst even playing for the Rossoneri first team.
“I have never thought I could be playing in Serie A this early in my career,” he added. “I had always dreamed it but I had not wanted to believe it.
“I even continued to dream with my eyes open once I had joined up with the first team.”
Furthermore, the 17-year-old claimed that Juventus’ Paulo Dybala and Inter’s Eder are the two toughest strikers he has came across on the peninsula, whilst stressing that Milan must beat Juventus in their forthcoming Serie A fixture this Saturday.
“The best strikers I have faced have been Paulo Dybala and Eder when he was at Sampdoria,” he continued. “Higuain has still not scored past me but you must always pay attention when he has the ball at his feet.”
He continued: “Milan will face Juventus and we must remain united and fight for every ball. We must win.
“There is no other result that is available for us.”
