The Rossoneri have not won in the league since February 27, when they
defeated Torino 1-0 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and they go into
this fixture on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Atalanta, prompting
more speculation about the future of their coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Currently the Diavolo are sixth in the Serie A table with 49 points
after 31 matches.
The Bianconeri won 1-0 against Empoli
in the previous round of league action thanks to a solitary goal from
Mario Mandzukic, who scored his first goal for Juve since December 2015.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team have won their last five Serie A games and
now they have 73 points for this season, leading Napoli in the Scudetto
chase by a four-point margin.
A Paulo Dybala goal was enough to give Juventus the three points when
they faced AC Milan in Week 13 and the Bianconeri have not lost to the
Rossoneri since November 2012, when a Robinho penalty was enough to give
the Milanese side a 1-0 victory.
Andrea Bertolacci will miss this game for Milan after picking up his
fifth yellow card for the season and must serve a one-match suspension
while M’Baye Niang will miss out because of an injury to his ankle.
Keisuke Honda is expected to make his return to the Rossoneri starting
line-up after missing the defeat to Atalanta.
Sami Khedira still has one more match to serve of his suspension
while Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini are unavailable for Juventus because
of muscular injuries.
