Sassuolo‘s Domenico Berardi and Genoa‘s Leonardo Pavoletti are summer transfer targets for AC Milan.
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has recently discussed the idea of a
Milan side based on young Italian talent, with an overhaul of the squad
expected at the end of the season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Berlusconi has prioritised
Berardi, who scored a hat-trick against Milan last season, and
Pavoletti, who Milan already held talk over with Genoa in January.
Milan’s front line is expected to look very different next season,
with Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jeremy Menez and Luiz Adriano set to leave
the club.
The good relationship between Milan and Genoa should help in the
pursuit of Pavoletti, but Milan are likely to face competition from Inter and Juventus for Berardi.
