Liverpool get response from club regarding summer deal for star striker

AC MILAN are not interested in signing Liverpool loanee Mario Balotelli on a permanent basis, according to reports.

Balotelli is due to return to Anfield in the summer once his season-long loan at Milan ends after a poor display in Serie A this term.
The 25-year-old has scored just once in 12 appearances and has had issues with fitness and form all season long.

A Liverpool source has told website Football Insider the Italy international has no future with the Reds and will not feature in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

And it gets worse for the former Manchester City star as Milan will also be turning their back on the striker.

The report claims the Serie A giants have been unimpressed by Balotelli and are not willing to pay anywhere near Liverpool’s £16million valuation.
Agent Mino Raiola will instead be tasked with finding him yet another new club over the summer and his hopes of a Euro 2016 place with Italy look slim.
Liverpool signed Balotelli from Milan for £16m in the summer of 2014 but had a poor season at Anfield, managing just one goal in 16 Premier League appearances.
