Andrea Bertolacci has revealed that the entire AC Milan squad is in support of coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic, whilst also calling on his teammates to swiftly address the mistakes they have made in their recent fixtures.
After failing to obtain victories over both Sassuolo and Chievo in their recent Serie A outings, the Serbian tactician has come under further scrutiny at the club, although the midfielder has now stressed that the team must keep working hard and aim to improve by themselves.
“We had been recovering,” said Bertolacci to Sky Sport Italia. “We had been battling hard and then we had two matches from which we didn’t get the results that we wanted.
“We need to reflect on our performances from this period and we must regain our composure without focusing on other teams. We have to concentrate only on ourselves.
“However, we are all with the coach and the group is still united.”
Bertolacci also revealed that he is still hopeful of obtaining a place in Antonio Conte’s Italy squad for the forthcoming European Championships.
“Obviously I hope to be called up,” he concluded. ” As of now I have been with the Azzurri for two years.”
