Milan play Napoli at Stadio San Paolo today at 21:00 CET and it will be the 26th matchday of the 2015/16 Serie A season. Milan and Napoli coaches, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Maurizio Sarri, have almost decided on their starting XI’s.
The Rossoneri are without Diego Lopez, Rodrigo Ely, Philippe Mexes and Luiz Adriano. Miha will also have to start with Alessio Romagnoli on the bench as the defender barely trained last week due to a fever. Juraj Kucka has returned to the squad and will take back his place alongside Riccardo Montolivo in midfield which means Andrea Bertolacci will be on the bench.
The Partenopei have to do without January signing Alberto Grassi. Sarri will of course keep using his 4-3-3 with has brought excellent results with Kalidou Koulibaly and Raul Albiol in defense, Marek Hamsik in midfield and Gonzalo Higuain between Lorenzo Insigne and José Callejón.
Here are the probable formations for tonight according to this morning’s GdS:
AC Milan (4-4-2) – Sinisa Mihajlovic
Gianluigi Donnarumma; Ignazio Abate, Alex da Costa, Cristian Zapata, Luca Antonelli; Keisuke Honda, Juraj Kucka, Riccardo Montolivo, Giacomo Bonaventura; M’Baye Niang, Carlos Bacca.
S.S.C. Napoli (4-3-3) – Maurizio Sarri
Pepe Reina; Elseid Hysaj, Raúl Albiol, Kalidou Koulibaly, Faouzi Ghoulam; Allan, Jorginho, Marek Hamšík; José Callejón, Gonzalo Higuaín, Lorenzo Insigne.
