Berlusconi: “Premature to confirm Mihajlovic, Bacca a true striker, Mr. Bee? He has deadlines”

Silvio Berlusconi was at San Siro last night watching his side defeat Inter but won’t say whether Mihajlovic will finish the season or be here next year.

President Silvio Berlusconi attended yesterday’s Derby della Madonnina and watched as Sinisa Mihajlovic’s boys tore through Inter to get a huge 3-0 win.
“Mihajlovic? If he’s the coach of Milan then it means that the club believes that he works well,” Berlusconi said at the end of the match. “Confirming him for June? He earned the compliments but I think it’s premature to speak of his confirmation at the end of the season.
“What I liked most about the match? The grit and fighting spirit shown on the field. Where can we improve? In every aspect. The Champions League? We can still believe in the Champions League, we’ll see what results the team can achieve. The goal of Carlos Bacca? Very nice. Bacca is a true scorer and he does what he has to do when a striker gets an opportunity – scores. Conte for the future? We have no prediction regarding the next season. It will depend on how Milan will act at the end of the season.
“Mr. Bee? The economic crisis in China has affected the deal. We have negotiations with other parties because the goal is to equip Milan for the future with certain resources in order to get back to bring competitive in Italy, Europe and in the world. We gave Mr. Bee deadlines which are very close.”
Berlusconi spent over €90m in the summer and last night was one of the few evenings this season in which things clicked. The Rossoneri have 7 more points than they had last year at this stage.
